Interior

Repairs to the interior of a home usually are the result of a failed exterior component, mechanical system, or appliance.  Scheduled maintenance of heating and cooling systems, and dehumidifiers should be part of any annual maintenance program.  Periodic inspection, cleaning, and sealing of tiled and stone surfaces will help extend their life.  Adjusting interior door hardware and hinges if not working properly will help prevent wear.  Wood floors should be monitored for excessive wear, and addressed before the finish is worn through.  Most often additional protective coats of finish can be applied without incurring the expense of a complete sanding of the floors.
